“I wrote Unbreakable Chain when I was so disillusioned by the cruelty in this world that I almost couldn’t stand it”, Pool shares. “The global turmoil felt like a reflection of my inner turmoil and vice versa… This song provides me with catharsis. The reality is that sometimes things are just fucked and it’s almost a disservice to truth to cloak it in some kind of half-assed lesson or take away.”

That raw honesty is central to the song’s impact. Built around sparse, haunting instrumentation and delivered with Pool’s unmistakable vocal ache, Unbreakable Chain is both deeply personal and widely resonant.
